The Tidewater Council provides several levels of training.

  1. Fast Start Training intended to help you immediately get started in you new leadership position.
  2. Boy Scout Leader Specific Training will orient you to how the Boy Scouts of America operates, valuable resources available to you, and how to be a better leader in your role as a Scouter.
  3. Youth Protection Training will orient you to how to work with youth in a safe environment and some of the problems youth face today.
  4. Supplemental Training are training sessions that are helpful to a Boy Scout Leader. You will want to continually check out these offerings throughout you tenure as a Scouter.
  5. Wood Badge is advanced training in leadership skills for all Scouters.
