CATHOLIC RETREAT-O-REE: September 10-12, 2010

This will be the 23rd annual Retreatoree sponsored by Catholic Committee on Scouting. The Retreatoree will be held at Pipsico Scout Reservation Camp Lions, Spring Grove, Virginia. This event combines Boy Scout and Girl Scout activities - volleyball, boating, disc golf, and other fun outdoor events, as well as time to reflect during the retreat sessions. There will be Saturday morning Mass, Reconciliation and Sunday morning Mass. Boy Scout Religious Emblems Counselor Training will be offered on Saturday. This event is for all Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Venturers, and Sea Scouts!

FREEZE-O-REE: January 21-23, 2011

Get prepared for an fun filled weekend at Pipsico Scout Reservation. NEW THIS YEAR, a Geocaching activity will be run on Saturday afternoon. Be one of the first to go find all the Caches that Pipsico has to offer. Also, you will still gain much needed rank advancement service while helping to improve YOUR CAMPING FACILITY. Lunch will be provided on Saturday complements of the Order of the Arrow cook crew.

Beaver Day Work Weekend: April 1-3, 2011

Do you love Pipsico? If so come stay the weekend for the official return of Beaver Day. Units are encouraged to stay the entire weekend. Saturday night units are encouraged to attend a cookout. Musical entertainment will be provided by you! If you units have youth members with musical talents or with their own bands, please bring their musical instruments along! Registration for this weekend will be along this fall but Be Prepared and plan for this weekend on your unit calendars now!
