Archeology Weekend:
is also a great weekend and the youth will complete the Archeology merit badge. This program is actually a 2 weekend program. There will be a day work-up required to complete the merit badge - usually a Sat. This weekend is run by the Virginia Archeology Society as we have a historical dig right in the camp dating back to the time of John Smith. The cost for this weekend is $50 which includes transportation from the Tidewater Council office to Camp Pipsico, all meals for the weekend, transportation to Bacons Castle and a tour of the area, and transportation back to the council office on Sunday afternoon. The date for the weekend is May 30 - June 1.

Wilderness Survival: The same weekend as Archeology, May 30 - June 1, but in Camp Kiwanis section of Pipsico. We are currently recruiting, hopefully, the Navy Seals to run this weekend. The cost for the weekend is undetermined at this current time until we receive a commitment for the Seals. Keep a watch out for more information on this event.
