This page contains a listing of all merit badges offered at Camp Lions, the
"difficulty level" of each, and any prerequisites or required equipment.
An asterisk before a listing indicates a merit badge required for
a Scout to make Eagle rank. The $ indicates kits or supplies are required. The number
after the title of each merit badge indicates the level of difficulty, as
follows:
(1) Excellent choice for first year campers.
(2) Recommended for second year campers and above.
These recommendations are based on difficulty of the material, required
attention span, assumed prior knowledge, and physical considerations such as
strength and dexterity. If no prerequisites are noted, there are none. If
"afternoon sessions" are indicated, this refers to special workshops offered
from 3:30 to 5:00 each afternoon.
