What is Conclave?
Every year, the six lodges of Section SR-7A come together for a weekend of fun and fellowship - the Conclave. This event, held in April, is an exciting weekend for Arrowmen of all ages.

The lodges of our section take turns hosting the conclave. The current rotation begain in 1998 when Tutelo Lodge hosted the first SR-7A conclave. The 2006 Conclave will be hosted by Shenandoah Lodge at Camp Rock Enon. Blue Heron Lodge hosted the Conclave in 2001 and will again host it in 2007.
Conclave 2006 Information
- The deadline to register for Conclave has passed. No further registrations will be accepted.
- A personal health / emergency contact form was mailed in your Drumbeat. It is also available for download here. Please print this form, complete it, have your parent sign it if you are under 18, and and send it to Randy Everette, George Coker, or Bill Stine.
- Shenandoah Council provides these directions to Camp Rock Enon:
16 miles west of Winchester, Virginia on Route 50 West. Take left at Gore, Virginia (look for the BSA Camp road sign). Take left on Route 704 (look for Camp Rock Enon Sign). Go 4 miles and make left on 683 (look for Camp Rock Enon Sign) - will take you to camp. - Click here for directions to Camp Rock Enon from Google Maps.
- It is NOT expected that every parent will drive 250 miles to take their son to camp. There are plenty of adults who are attending the event who will be happy to transport youth who are unable to transport themselves. If you need a ride, ask at your chapter meeting. Do not wait until the last minute to make plans! If you are a youth, make sure that your parents know and approve of your transportation plans.

Conclave Theme
Each year, our lodge selects a "theme" for our costumes for the show. Past themes have Rome, Braveheart, prisoners, Star Wars, and pirates. Other lodges have used themes such as Ancient Egyptians and clowns. If you have any ideas for a theme or would like to volunteer to help out with next year's conclave, let your chapter chief know.
Our theme for the 2006 Conclave has been selected. If you do not know what it is, ask another member of the delegation.
Conclave 2007
When we host the Conclave in 2007, this will be a major undertaking requiring the efforts of the entire lodge. We will have a large staff. If you would like to chair a committee or have another major role in our conclave staff, now is the time to be thinking about it.
