FIX THE BARN...HOW YOU CAN HELP PAGE

Hi all,

Please note that we are just getting organized on the barn project but we hope to pick up the pace quickly.

Currently there are several ways that one can help.

1.  When work days are announced for the barn, announce your intentions to come and help.

2.  When we make up a list of materials and goods that are needed for the barn, look over the list, and share it with anyone that you think might be able to supply the materials.   This list of materials will be placed on the page with the updates on the barn.  We will also try to recognize everyone that helps to make this project become successful.

3.  Make a cash donation to the barn.  (Simply send a note to the Tidewater Council, with a note saying that the donation is to go toward the barn and the funds will be restricted for this purpose alone.)

4.  Purchase a patch or other items that we announce to support the barn.  Information will be forthcoming shortly.

5.  Purchase popcorn (this is a limited offer as we are rapidly coming to the end of our selling season) in the name of the barn and we will put the proceeds towards the barn.  POPCORN NOW AVAILABLE.

6.  Have your unit conduct a show and sell for the barn and have the proceeds go towards the barn.

7.  Copy the following link into one of your emails and invite others to help with our barn project: http://www.tidewaterbsa.com/thebarn.htm

If you want to help with materials or labor, one can contact Robbie Henderson at 757-421-3637 (home) or Email: rahender@hotmail.com.

The Scout service center staff will also try to help the barn project by answering questions, finding answers, and doing whatever we can to make this a successful project for our camp and to honor Si.

We thank you in advance for your assistance.
