Standing district meetingsDistrict Commissioner Meeting is the first Wednesday of each month at Vicki Villa Restaurant, across the street from Albemarle Hospital on U.S. 17 Bypass in Elizabeth City. Dinner is at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting begins at 7 p.m. Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leaders Roundtables are at 7:30 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 600 West Ehringhaus Street in Elizabeth City. District Committee Meeting is the third Wednesday of the month at Golden Corral in Elizabeth City, NC. The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. Pasquotank Village Tribe of the Order of the Arrow Meeting is at 7 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month at Pasquotank Ruritan Club, Main Street Ext., in Elizabeth City. The Roanoke Village Tribe of the Order of the Arrow Meeting is at 7 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at the American Legion Building in Kill Devil Hills. |

The district is strong in focusing on membership goals, and this year will be no different. It's time to make plans to get flyers into schools for distribution the first week, get boy talks everywhere possible and step it up a notch in getting those new kids registered.
