Here are several ways you can do it.

Please include with the check that its for a contribution.

You can also send the Tidewater Council, an electronic approval via fax or e-mail.

We take Visa and Mastercard for contributions.

From your card we will need in your email or fax, the following:

Name as it appears on the card.

Your address for billing purposes of the card provided, include street address, city, state, and zip code.

The expiration date.

The amount of your gift.

Include in your email the following:

We hereby authorize the Tidewater Council to use the credit card provided to make a contribution to your organization.

Are the gifts tax deductible? Yes, to the extent provided by law, we are a 501(c)3 organization.

Checks mailed before the end of the year are deductible in 2008 unless you specify otherwise.

Electronic contributions (e-mail/fax) by credit card are deductible in 2009 if received before the end of 2009. Even if you pay your credit card bill later in January.

If you are considering a contribution of anything other than cash, please contact us by e-mail.

All we ask at the end of the year is, if you are making contributions to your favorite charities, think of the Boy Scouts. We pray you do.
